For the 2025 season, ICON Football will exclusively offer tackle football for incoming 5th and 6th grade athletes, specifically those in the Class of 2032 and Class of 2033.
This focused approach allows us to provide age-appropriate coaching, skill development, and competitive opportunities tailored to this critical stage of player growth.

We currently have a limited inventory of football helmets available to loan to participants who do not have their own. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, prioritizing players with the greatest need.

Practice Accessories (mouthguards, gloves, girdles, etc.)
For safety and performance reasons, we strongly recommend that all equipment be properly fitted and in good condition. If you need guidance on where to purchase gear or how to ensure proper sizing, don’t hesitate to reach out to our coaching staff.
Practice & Game Location Details
All practices and summer camp sessions will be held at Olathe Northwest High School in Olathe, Kansas. Our regular practice schedule is:
Days: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
This consistent schedule allows athletes to build a strong weekly routine focused on skill development, conditioning, and team cohesion.
Game Locations
Game schedules and venues will depend on which league we participate in—either the Sunflower League or NYSSO (National Youth Sports Sanctioning Organization). Once finalized, league placement will determine our opponents and travel requirements.

READ CAREFULLY — THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS
This agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into voluntarily by the undersigned participant and/or parent/legal guardian (collectively, “Participant”) in favor of ICON Youth Sports Club, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, sponsors, successors, and assigns (collectively, “ICON YSC”).
In consideration for being allowed to participate in any ICON YSC-sponsored athletic, recreational, or educational program—including but not limited to Flag Football, 7v7 Football, Tackle Football, Basketball, training, camps, and any associated events or activities—and/or to use ICON YSC’s premises, facilities, equipment, or services, the undersigned acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
Participant agrees to adhere to all posted rules, safety signage, and verbal instructions provided by ICON YSC staff or representatives. ICON YSC reserves the right to remove any individual for non-compliance or behavior that jeopardizes the safety of others.
Participant acknowledges that participation in physical activities and sports inherently involves risks of injury, including but not limited to:
Sprains, fractures, concussions, and other physical injuries
Collisions with other participants
Weather-related hazards
Equipment failure or improper use
Negligence of others
Participant voluntarily assumes full responsibility for all such risks, known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of ICON YSC, other participants, or third parties. Participant further affirms that they (or their child) are physically capable of participating in the designated activities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant hereby waives, releases, and discharges ICON YSC and all related parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to personal injury, property damage, or death resulting from participation in any ICON YSC program or event, regardless of cause, including but not limited to the ordinary negligence of ICON YSC.
This release shall be binding on the Participant’s heirs, personal representatives, and assigns.
Participant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ICON YSC from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or legal actions (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to Participant’s involvement in ICON YSC activities or use of facilities, including any claims brought by a third party.
In the event of injury or illness, Participant authorizes ICON YSC staff and medical personnel to administer first aid, emergency transportation, and/or medical treatment as deemed necessary. Participant acknowledges responsibility for all medical costs incurred as a result.
Participant further grants ICON YSC permission to act in their best judgment in any emergency situation involving the health and safety of the Participant or their child, including but not limited to decisions regarding food, shelter, clothing, or emergency evacuation.
Participant understands and agrees that ICON YSC may photograph, film, or otherwise record participants during events, practices, or other activities for promotional, advertising, educational, or archival purposes. By signing this agreement:
Participant grants ICON YSC a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use their or their child’s name, image, voice, and likeness in all media formats, including print, broadcast, digital, and social media.
Participant waives any right to inspect, approve, or claim compensation for the use of such recordings.
Participant affirms that no further approval shall be necessary from them or any minor’s legal guardian for future use of such materials.
This includes, but is not limited to:

✔️ Promotional brochures
✔️ Community news features
ICON YSC agrees to use such content responsibly and in good faith.
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the appropriate courts of Johnson County, Kansas.
Participant affirms they are signing this Agreement freely and voluntarily, without pressure, threats, or coercion. They acknowledge ample opportunity to review and seek legal counsel regarding this Agreement and that ICON YSC has offered a full refund if they choose not to agree.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect. This document represents the entire understanding between the parties.
ICON YSC shall not be liable for cancellations or inability to fulfill obligations due to events beyond its control including, but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Facility closures
Civil unrest
Refunds or credits due to such circumstances shall be granted at the sole discretion of ICON YSC and may be subject to administrative fees.
ICON YSC reserves the right to dismiss any participant for:
Disruptive or unsafe conduct
Violation of rules or instructions
Physical or verbal abuse of players, coaches, officials, or spectators
No refunds will be issued in the event of dismissal for cause.
Participant acknowledges that they maintain primary medical insurance for the minor child and understands that ICON YSC may carry secondary insurance coverage for incidents that qualify.
Participant understands that ICON YSC does not guarantee:
Specific team assignments
Equal playing time
Skill improvement or athletic advancement
All coaching, placement, and game-time decisions are final and non-negotiable.
By checking the box and submitting this form electronically, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms of this Release of Liability and Media Consent Agreement. I certify that I am the participant, or the parent/legal guardian of the minor named on this form, and that all information provided is accurate and complete.
